My last post referred to the popular 1980s animated series, The mysterious cities of Gold, one of the most beautiful memories of my childhood. Not only was it a great children's series with endearing characters, but the documentary and historical content made us learn while entertaining us. No wonder then that this Franco-Japanese production has toured the world and has been translated into several languages, as I was able to discover by looking for an extract from the documentary capsules that we could savor at the end of each episode! Funny to hear the opening theme we all know by heart sung in Swedish or Portuguese! Big up to the Japanese to have completely scrapped one of the best cartoon intro tunes ever.
