Mike Bossy posts touching message to announce lung cancer

Former Islanders star Mike Bossy has written a note for his fans and TVA Sports viewers. In a touching letter, he announces that he has lung cancer. We can read: " Today, it is with great sorrow that I must retire from your screens, for an obligatory break. A necessary stop during which I will have to receive treatment for lung cancer. 1-0 so far, but I haven't said my last word ... ". He explains that he is withdrawing from the world of television to fight against the disease. All our thoughts are with this great athlete.
