The Sûreté du Québec receives crazy questions that clog its call centers

La Sûreté du Québec has just published a video to tell us about the situation of call centers which are currently overwhelmed. Sergeant Drolet advises us that they receive hundreds of calls for bizarre questions or inappropriate denunciations. The goal of this initiative is to relieve the congestion of call centers and that the emergency dispatchers are there for the real complaints.

Accompanying the video, we can read: "Many of you are wondering about the situations for which it is appropriate to call us or not in the context of # COVID19. Sergeant Drolet answers you on video. We are counting on your collaboration to help us intervene in the field and we thank you for your collaboration in not overloading our telephone lines.»
