A Cat Lover's Dream - An Island Where Cats Outnumber Humans Six Times

You are a real catlover? As soon as you see a cat you automatically make a big AWWW and you rush to stroke it? You absolutely have to go and visit the Japanese island ofAoshima where cats are six times more numerous than humans. You can see them walking in the streets, on the water's edge and in the abandoned houses of this fishing village. The first cats were taken to the island by fishermen who had a problem with mice on their boat. Since then, cats have established their headquarters and there are now more than 120 of them. This corner of paradise is now nicknamed "the cat island" where many tourists spend a day in good company.
