Canada to legalize marijuana
Governor General David Johnston sitting next to Justin Trudeau said during the 2016 policy address that Canada will pass laws to legalize and regulate the use of marijuana.
«The government recognizes that Canada is a fundamentally safe country where peace reigns, and it will work to ensure the safety of people while protecting the rights and freedoms we cherish. This includes the introduction of legislation that will increase support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, help remove handguns and assault weapons from our streets, and legalize and regulate the use of marijuana and will limit access to this substance.»
We will introduce legislation to legalize, regulate and restrict access to marijuana #ThroneSpeech
